During the year-long cultural survey of the geographic area surrounding Camp Ripley in central Minnesota, Nienow Cultural Consultants partnered with Great River Greening to conduct a public archaeology dig along the Crow Wing River in Pillager, Minn. to determine its status as a potential archaeological site. Numerous important discoveries were made that day. I was along for the event and produced this short feature video documenting the day's process and exciting finds. View it here (above/below) or visit the video on NCC's YouTube channel.
